As an independent concierge physician, Dr. Zich considers it essential to refer patients to the institution that will best meet his or her needs. He has formal affiliations with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Center, but also works closely with the University of Chicago, many private specialists in the Chicago region, and refers to Mayo Clinic and other top tertiary care centers throughout the country. Dr. Zich combines the resources of leading institutions with the intimacy and focus of private practice.
Dr. Zich also provides care for patients who live full-time from coast-to-coast and even internationally. He is happy to coordinate your care with physicians you have in other places of residence and, if hospitalized, communicate with your care team regardless of where you are in the world.

Dr. Zich’s credentials extend far beyond the ordinary internist as you are getting two specialists in one. His second board certification in Emergency Medicine provides additional training in areas including orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, and bedside ultrasound, as well as specialized procedures like joint injections, nerve blocks, and wound care. This expansive knowledge allows him to address your medical needs in ways other internists simply cannot.
